In ground pool safety cover options
Material
A pool safety cover can be made with mesh or solid material. Mesh allows water to pass through whereas solid covers require a pump or drain panel made of mesh material.
Grid Size
The grid size determines the strapping of the cover. 5 x 5 is fine for many standard pool ahapes. Larger pools and free-form pools may require a 3 x 3 grid for effective anchoring of your in ground pool safety cover.
Regular or high shade mesh
High shade mesh material is made with a 4:2 black/color ratio which increases the UV protection of your cover by blocking more sunlight from harming your pool liner.
Standard cover options (step, anchor collars, D-Rings, wood deck anchors, gecian corners, oval ends, roman ends)
- If you have a step which is outside the pool perimeter it will need to be incorporated into the cover design.
- Brass anchor collars fit on top of the mounting anchors to protect your deck when using the installation/removal rod tool.
- If you have a wood deck instead of stone or concrete you will require wood deck anchors. These are screwed in rather than inserted into drilled holes.
- A grecian pool can have a square cover or one that has cut diagonal corners which are in line with your grecian pool corners. These are visually more appealing but add a cost to your cover.
- Oval and roman pool covers can be made as a rectangle or can be made with oval or roman ends which follows the curve of your pool.
